"Global plastics production reached an alarming 400 Million metric tons annually in 2021."

"Less than 10% of the Plastic used around the world is recycled"

"Plastic takes more than 450 years to decompose, forcing reliance on more landfills"

"12 million tons of plastic are poured into the ocean every year."

Plastic. It is worrying.

Waste Transformation for a Sustainable Future

Transforming Non-recyclable plastic into sustainable construction materials.

The idea of Green Initiative stems from recognising that insufficient progress in building materials has led to environmental destruction.

Our plan is a future in which building materials become a solution to the climate crisis, rather than a cause.

In our approach to addressing this issue, we collect and recycle waste from construction operations and residential compounds owned by development companies, In addition, we have established supply contracts for rejected plastic waste from recycling factories. Through innovative technology, we transform this low-value, un-recyclable plastic waste, blended with mineral aggregates and plastic additives, into a sub-solid material. This material serves as a sustainable alternative to concrete and is utilised in various building products such as paving tiles, roof tiles, building bricks and more. Notably, our commitment extends to providing these eco-friendly building materials at competitive or even lower prices than existing market options.

We gather non-recyclable plastic waste from construction sites and residential compounds owned by Real Estate Developers.

1. Collect

We process the collected plastic waste into environmentally friendly building materials.

2. Recycle

We provide 100% recycled plastic building materials to ongoing construction projects at prices competitive with market alternatives (e.g. cement).

3. Supply

UN Sustainable Development Goals x Green-Initiative

Minimising Waste and Energy Consumption.

Incorporating design principles and energy-efficient technologies to minimise energy consumption and reduce waste in manufacturing processes.

Low Carbon Footprint.

Utilisation of recycled plastic as a primary raw material to reduce plastic pollution and preserve natural resources.

Sustainable Manufacturing Process:

Energy consumption reduction.

Achieving a remarkable 62% reduction in energy consumption compared to traditional cement alternatives.

Water usage decrease

Implementing water-efficient practices leading to a 35% decrease in water usage during production.

Zero Reliance on cement

*Compared to production of traditional cement products*

Sustainablity Milestone in Production.

Our production is situated in a remote village in Egypt facing significant unemployment challenges.

We actively provide comprehensive training and offer meaningful employment opportunities.

This has proactively contributed to the economic upliftment of the local community in the area while aligning with our sustainable practices.
